HAPPY NEW YEAR!

After some months of 'down time', is it possible to pick up where I left off?
Perhaps not, but I will add some pictures to bring things up do date!

This past July we had a cousin/family reunion. It was so much fun and we can't wait to start planning the next one!

Happy Grandparents!

We loved being at our grandson's wedding in November!

God is always faithful and He gave us another year of health and happiness. We are looking forward to see what He has planned for us in 2015.

Retirement Tree

Our daughter gave us this sweet little tree, and I just love it! It fits our house, and our 'retired' life style! When we need a 'big tree fix', we simply visit our kids and admire the 'huge' tree in their house!

I learned something new.....

Our grandson makes hula hoops for a college project.  So far they have sold about 700 of these.  I am one of his favorite customers, of course.....
I had forgotten how much fun these things are!!!!

I AM READY FOR WINTER!!

Blythe is keeping warm and cozy. Her new outfit was a special gift from her boyfriend. I think he has very good taste, don't you?

Comfortable pants, and some very stylish sunglasses complete the outfit!

GREEN PASTURES

This little piece of crocheting reminded me of the 23rd Psalm. Of course I then had to name it:
"Green Pastures".

FLOWER POWER

We moved here last Fall, and what a lovely surprise to find all this blooming in the Spring! This view is right outside my kitchen window and each week brought new delights!

We are still enjoying the view! These flowers started blooming 4 days ago. I thought they were some sort of weed, and still do not know what they are called!
Another wonderful gift from our Lord................

MY HUSBAND, THE GENIUS.

We are doing some remodeling in our kitchen. My husband fearlessly cut great, big holes in the kitchen wall and I can toss my laundry right down the basement steps. (Mmmm, maybe we should leave it this way...) It also means we will be able to store more of our favorite snacks, loved by most senior citizens.
These are some of the tools used by a genius! My tools are knitting needles, crochet hooks and such, so I am not sure what all of these are, but they do the trick!
My husband not only is a genius, he also does a great job of cleaning up! That's why we get along so well! Oh, and did I tell you he is a great cook, also?
